This show benefits local children. We offer some great activities for children at this event. Those activities include: children bringing their rides to show and to drive in the parade, carnival games in the big tent, barrel rides, chalk drawing on a VW Bug, prizes and giveaways. All children’s activities are free. There is a variety of food and drinks to buy while supplies last. Click on the registration above. For children, only the bottom line needs to be filled out and sent in. See you September 8. It is a rain or shine event.

Some Pictures from Our First Annual Grace Community Car Show
Welcome to Grace Community Car Show website. We appreciate your visit. We encourage you check out each of the pages. They are full of helpful information from the history to upcoming details.
Why a car show? Why not? Pastor John's dad, John Bayer, Sr. (picture 1), had a body shop, which Pastor John discovered in 1956 at the age of 3. Pastor John looked for every opportunity to play in the body shop near Smithsburg, MD. Saturdays were the best days to spend a lot of time with his dad.
Pastor John's very first car came at an early age. It was a pedal driven car. See picture 2 on the left side. Behind him is a 1955 Chevy that his dad had painted for a customer. Needless to say that was the beginning of Pastor John's love for cars. He had a lot of fun with that car during those early years riding it, pretending to work on it right beside his dad who was working on another customer's vehicle. Dad and son were inseparable.
Enjoy looking through this website. Maybe you will become involved in helping with this annual event, showing a vehicle, becoming a vendor, etc. Have a good day.
1995 Mustang SVT Cobra - unrestored car - #185 of 499 ever built with two tops - a removable hard top and a soft top. Pastor John and Tammy are the second owners of this rare fine. We found the car in Cannonsburg, PA. Feature at Carlisle Ford Nationals in 2013 and 2014. The car has only 23,000 miles.
