Check this out.  James Galmiche made this custom OCC Guitar for Bill and Sandy McHugh.  Bill and Sandy helped us at the September 9, 2017 Car Show with children and parents who helped to fill 104 shoe boxes that day.  These special shoe box gifts will travel to children in our world.  James is an amazing and talented man who loves God, his family and children.  Below is a video message from Bill and Sandy to James and our church family.

Chambersburg Tent Pros came to set up our two large tents and bring us 40 tables and 350 folding chairs for our big event.  We encourage you to get in touch with the staff for your tent needs.  Thank you guys.  Great work.  The tent out front is the children's event tent.  The tent out back is for the Car Show.  Here the guys are hard at work.  Well done.  These men are dependable.

This file will show you what the judge is look for in judging your ride.
We work at doing our best.  Our judges are volunteers and have a limited time to do the judging.  Please allow them to do their job.  We ask that you have your vehicle open for inspection - hood, trunk, and interior.  Thank you for your cooperation.  Let remember that this show is a benefit
"FOR THE CHILDREN AND THE CAUSE."

The Story Behind the Best of Show Car & Truck Trophies

Picture
Meet Tom.  He is the second owner of this very rare 1968 Chevelle Malibu Sport.  In 1968 there were 1400 Chevelle Malibu's built and only 100 Malibu Sports.  It is the last original factory sport model known to exist.  It was built before the strike at the Tonawanda Plant in Baltimore, MD.  Tom purchased this car as a barn find from the original owners in September 2014.  The original mileage at the time of purchase was 88,820 miles.  The engine was restored by Terry Putt Jr.   The original 327/275 motor had to be replaced due to engine damage.  The old cast iron engine block was given to Pastor John to repurpose into some special trophies.  Tom got to see what we did with his old engine block on August 21, 2017 at the Grace Brethren Church, the home of the Grace Community Car Show in these two trophies will be awarded to the owners of the Best of Show Car and the Best of Show Truck on September 9, 2017.
