The Adventures of Gary & Pastor John
Fridays with Gary Osler
What are Friday's with Gary Osler? Pastor John started on Friday, March 11, 2016, to pick up Gary at 9:00 AM from the Village of Laurel Run for a day of excitement for both Gary and John. This first week we stopped at Keystone Ford in Chambersburg, PA and Casey gave us a 2016 F-150 Platinum Edition. Gary always had a truck, but not anymore. Then we went visiting friends of Gary and also families from Grace. By 4:00 PM we had visited Jake, Willy, Kei, Jerry, Gerald, Tim, Don, Tammy, Ron, Harold, Sue, Eric, Nick, Charlie, Paula, Koi, and Quentin. We enjoyed eating at Montezuma's. The following slideshow features our visits. Thank you everyone for making Gary's day out full of memories.

This week we had a 2013 Boss Laguna Sega edition to drive. Thank you Jake. This week Troy Summers set up a meeting with Gary that included a visit from Gary electrician Tom Pilgrim. Gary and I had a special trophy to deliver to man at Manor Care in Chambersburg. At last year's car show, Randy Lehman asked us if we would make a special trophy for his dad, Robert. The trophy was finished so Gary and I took it to Robert. He really liked receiving it. We forgot to get a picture of the trophy. When we get one, we will added to this week's slideshow.

We had a few surprises today. The first surprise was Gary had a doctor's appointment, which meant I couldn't take him out. We were not happy about that circumstance. Later that morning the thought came to me to meet Gary at his appointment. Thank you Karen for finding out the time and where the appointment was. The doctor was very helpful in explaining to Gary and me what was going on in Gary's mind. Gary liked the doctor and the doctor's interest in restoring old motorcycles. He is currently working on a 1968 Honda Goldwing motorcycle. I could tell that the doctor really liked Gary and especially when he said to set up the next appointment at the end of his day so he could take some extra time with Gary. Sorry that I did not take a picture of Gary with the doctor, but we did manage to get a picture of Gary with his driver at the church showing them the newest custom built table.
